Studio STE was formed by Rebecca Sterling, AIA LEED AP, to bridge the gap between high end Architecture, Interiors and Sustainability.
We work closely with individuals and brands to define and refine their "DNA", directly translating it into a unique user experience and architectural aesthetic.
We prioritize natural materials, passive strategies and systems, along side design efficiency and simplicity.
Our work integrates craftsmanship, a strong relationship between interior and exterior, and a deep appreciation and curiosity for the project at hand.

PRINCIPLE ARCHITECT
Rebecca is a licensed architect in the states of Connecticut and New York. She was raised on a farm in England and a historic home in rural Connecticut, which continues to be a source of inspiration for her work. Early in her career, she lived in Japan to study traditional and contemporary Architecture and Landscape Design, which led to her first professional role on a large project in the foothills of Kyoto. She has worked with celebrated architects and designers such as I.M. Pei and Philip Wu, continually bridging gaps between high end and environmentally conscious design. She approaches each project as a unique exercise, emphasizing a collaborative approach with the client and contractor whenever possible.
