Catskills Cabin

This project began with the task of simply "adding on" to our clients 1970s log cabin nestled on a mountainside. The primary goal was to introduce more functional and well lit spaces, while preserving the coziness of the original structure. We were quick to recognize the simple beauty of the original cabins shape, which was captured and “stretched" under a singular new roof to house both old and new spaces.

The interior finishes play with color and natural materials; vast views capture the valley below and beyond while dormers take in the hills behind, where wildlife is abundant!
