Nestled in a colonial neighborhood and on a narrow lot, our "Downtown" house capitalizes on its orientation to capture a morning terrace and a rear yard oasis. The overall design focuses on an open layout that floods the interiors with natural daylight and calculated views.

We developed the interior material palette with elegance and honesty in mind. With a nod to the property's historic neighbors, and Connecticut's charming vernacular roots, the millworker and finishes draw inspiration from Colonial homes: rich local woods, local stone and minima detailing establish a timeless feel.
